Hicham Al Abiad is always a driver to look out for in Group N, and he kicked off his 32nd Spring Rally promisingly, setting competitive times next to co-driver Vicken Kanledjian. However, mechanical gremlins in the late stages of the rally killed his hopes of fighting for better positions, but he was still able to reach the finish.
