The now infamous first corner in Global Rallycross this season has been known to take front runners and race favorites out of the competition from the start. With 9 to 10 GRC race cars in the main, each running close to 800hp, the goal is to have the best start giving the driver the lead going into the first corner. But the key to winning the race is coming out of that first corner not only in the lead but making it through the carnage without serve damage and/or a black flag.
